FPW Fuel Hat can fit Mustangs '79 and newer!!!
The bolt in fuel hat (double or triple, return or return-less) has the compatibility to fit in any 79' and up Mustang with Fore Precision Works! From year 79', the mustang has continuously kept the single sump through 2004, which will allow excess of an 99-04 gas tank with simple installation.
The Fuel Hat can fit within the Fox and Sn95 with any 99 to 04 Mustang fuel tank along with a 03/04 Cobra Level sender. In the Fox, the filler neck must be massaged to properly fit the newer fuel tank and fuel hat.
The Fore Precision Fuel Hat is an easy bolt in installation with the 99 or newer fuel tank with no welding, caulking, or deforming the floor pan to clear pump outlets. Pump outlets are designed for optimal fuel delivery, PPRV and restrictive in tank "Y" is eliminated, and submersible fuel line is included within the fuel hat. The full billet components also use o-rings, OEM seals, and epoxy sealed through conductors.
The fuel hat is designed to be time efficient during installation and easy access for replacement of the GT or Walbro pumps.
Fore Precision Works currently makes over nine fuel hats that include the Ford Lightning, Mustang, and soon Dodge.
With slight modifications, the Fore Precision Works Fuel Hat can be compatible with the 79 and up Mustang. With a 99 to 04 Mustang gas tank involved, any 79 to 04 mustang can use the Fore Precision Works fuel hat.
